    The Electrical Systems, Wiring, and Avionics course is a 2 day course. Our instructor is an expert with considerable experience in aircraft electrical systems and avionics and, most importantly, a teacher who can communicate complex ideas.

    The curriculum is centered on the installation process. The following subjects are presented: Antenna mounting, coax cable installation, wiring of radio systems, soldering and crimping components, alternator and electrical system requirements, installation of electrical systems, etc.. You will learn proper soldering techniques and have the opportunity to practice. You will complete several hands on practice projects designed to reinforce the items discussed in the classroom portion of the course.

    Problem areas encountered in electrical system installation in aircraft will be discussed and solutions presented.

    The size of the class is limited to 14 students to ensure individualized instruction. You will not only receive instruction, but you will have opportunity to gain a considerable amount of 'hands-on' experience. Electrical systems have long been a problem area for the aircraft builder and restorer. Let our instructor take the mystery out of electrical systems through this course.
